I agree, i dont think i have seen one lift another till then there steamer games were certainty eventful

lol, the trademark - when I didn't wear a pink shirt at Kemble everybody moaned!

I've never seen a Marshall roller go that fast!

I've seen The President twice now without sunshine, third time lucky at GDSF...

Yer i know the smoke out of that was miles high, i have a video i will put on youtube tonight and show everyone else

Just out of interest did the venture up to the wood and get any descent pics of the wood sawing with the Q class ?? I could never get a good one, To many people but what an engine

Yep that hope it sunny for dorset cause a load behind that is a photographer dream lol

Yes I was lucky and there wasn't many people about. I've never seen an engine wood sawing in such an authentic environment before.

David is absolutely right and here's a picture of the logs being handled using the musuem's newly restored yard crane too.

An excellent event as mentioned in other posts, good to see the engines neatly spaced out and clutter free.
One unusual item that drew great interest was the Hudspith steam gramophone, The steam exhausts through the centre of the sound horn.

Singleton is also a great venue for miniatures. Since my last visit even more of the woodland paths are wheel chair accessible which make them ideal scale road for my miniature

On the Sunday, i dont think i saw u stop giving rides and turndeling around the site !
