Default Riverside 2014 Saturday

This was our first outing this year and what a cracking start to the season. Given that this is a charity event, there was plenty to see, including a great thrashing demonstration, and it was very well supported. The best thing of course is catching up with old friends and seeing how well they have overwintered. The first highlight for me was getting close up to the Foden timber tractor. What a delight she must be to drive. The other highlight was seeing a Foden FH70 gun tractor for the first time on a rally field. Oh, and the weather was kind too. All in all, a great day out.

Cracking day on Saturday , really good season opener with a fine selection of exhibits .
Nice selection of steam and I have to say one of the best gatherings of vintage commercials your likely to see .
The event comes over as a well organized friendly rally , good job by all concerned .

Dave

Good to see that the Winter lay-over hasn't diminished your skills, David. I really must try to get up to see this rally one year. Thankyou for posting.

David. Please come to south Cerney this year. You have a way of capturing things and focusing on the atmosphere of a event that is few and far between.

Great photos as always David. That drum is immaculate - a real credit to Johnson's. I bet it hums as well as it looks.
