Default Dudley and BCLM

I thought I would post some pictures from the weekend. On Saturday we were privileged to road Len & Jane Crane's Burrell 'Endurance' to Dudley town centre to join some of the Black Country live steamers to put on a display for turning the Christmas lights on.

[

We then drove down from Dudley town centre on Saturday night to the black county living museum and then spent all day Sunday driving around the museum. It was a great weekend, the weather kept fine just a little cold.

Below are some videos on the road and at the BCLM. Sorry that there shaky but they were taken on someone's phone.

A few pictures from yesterday. We drove yesterday from the Black Country museum to Stourbridge high street for a similar thing to last weekend to put the christmas lights on. It also gave the christmas shoppers something to look at as we went past the Merry Hill shopping centre on the way.

On route to Stourbridge

Steve Harbach's 3in model of the 'White rose of York'

Steve and Jack Daniels 6in Garrett

Lee Hartshorne's 4in burrell scenic after it had been round the ring road to join us.

Mick Price's Scammell Pioneer

It was great to see Len Crane on the footplate

Generating at night

After the show had finished we then roaded "Endurance" around 8 miles back home in the dark.

A big thank you to Mick Price for all his hard work making the lights for the engine and for following us around the past two weekends with the Scammell Pioneer as back up. Also to Jane Crane for keeping us fed and watered
