Default Midlands Model Exhibition

Any one on here going to the Midlands Model Engineer Exhibition?
Looked a bit muddy for the 'Stonleigh steamers' yesterday, maybe the wind and sun will dry it out today?

Spotted "Staffordshire Lass" on the MRVS stand yesterday, Phil. I'm going to take a look at her brand new governor over the weekend and look forward to seeing her in action

Default Midlands Model Engineers Show.

Went Sunday great show, did have a question, does anyone know why Reeves were not showing this year.

Anyway attached some photos albeit not traction engine related, there were less running outside compared to other years but
always touch and go with the weather and I do feel for the people camped there for 4 days.

The gas turbine GT3 was an excellent demo.

with actual gas turbine engine max revs 170,000 rpm = 6 horse power.

Enjoy anyway food for thought when my traction engine is finished.
