Default Langley daffodil day 2011

April 3rd 2011 saw the Annual Langley School Daffodil day and vintage rally, held in the beautiful surroundings of Langley Park, Near Loddon. Only one engine was roaded to this event this year, this being James Brett’s 4” Burrell Sybil JPB1984. The Norfolk and Suffolk Steam Engine Club had their Marshall 6nhp faithful type “Woodton Lady” Works no. 54486. There was 15 miniature steam engines on display, the biggest being a half size Ruston and Proctor the smallest being a 3” Aveling and Porter, which also included a 4.5” scale Burrell DCC road loco built by a Scottish blacksmith and a 3” McLaren road loco. The display was also aided by vintage tractors over 50 stationary engines and around 100 classic cars
