7th and 8th November Masham Bonfire and Steam Party
I have been asked by Flo Grainger to let you all know that she is organising a get together of steam engines to coincide with the nearby Masham Bonfire and Firework Display.
The event is taking place over the weekend of 7th and 8th November at The Old Station Yard, Masham with a Grand Bonfire Supper on the Saturday evening. Several engines are expected to be in attendance and all profits are being donated to the air ambulance. For further details contact Flo on 01765 689569. The old station yard also boasts excellent camping facilities and restaurant/cafe (I can vouch for the full english breakfast) |

Flo was delighted with the turnout of exhibitors and visitors alike. She has asked me to thank everyone that turned up and supported the event and made it a grand weekend in particular Dave Robinson for his efforts. A total of £750-00 was raised for The Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
A small seed has now been sown and it is hoped to repeat the event next year possibly on a slightly earlier date. |
