Default Blackpool steam rally

Just wondered if anyone on here went to the new Blackpool rally and could comment on the event or post some pictures?

There are plenty of video's on youtube of the event, looks good as its in a huge carpark, so lots of hardstanding for an event at this time of year.

For a first go at putting on a rally it was good, There was a good turn out of exhibits the site was good and all the staff made everyone feel welcome, there are a couple of things that need ironing out but the organisers were fully aware of this. The road run into town was epic we steamed all the way up blackpool sea front under the illuminations then we stopped for fish and chips at the north end, the amount of people that came to see was excellent. It was well worth a look and we hope its on again next year.

My images from last Saturday. very enjoyable day and as said organisation on the "showground", well car park was very good. Made to feel very welcome as a customer so to speak. I will email organiser with my own thoughts but some of those will come as more of a photographers stance. £5.00 good value to me to go in,I really hope this happens again next year, i for one will be going and would recommend it highly as a visitor.

As said the gathering on central prom was epic.
