[International Steam]

Rod Smith kindly volunteered to 'do the business' for me over the Bank Holiday weekend and I have compiled his pictures into my traditional format:

Suffice to say that, with 90 steam machines, it was a show to rival Welland and Weeting as stand out events for 2023.

Unfortunately on Bank Holiday Monday there wasn't a great deal of sunshine around.

I have added 4 more pictures from Paul Gilbey to the Bressingham Steam Portable report so that nearly all the exhibits have two pictures each. It was a significant event and it's a shame that the number of enthusiasts visiting was seemingly not that great.

I was there on Sunday, the weather was pretty poor then, drizzle & overcast except for about 10 minutes of watery sunshine.

Hell, I was there all the time, I agree there wasnt a lot of sun about, but I spent 95% of my time from Wednesday to Tuesday in shirt sleeves, and even when we did get the one good shower on Sunday it was warm rain.

Mrs Jones got sunburnt legs on the Sunday, also a drenching from the heavy shower. And I got a nice tan as a result of it. I wasn't stupid enough to share my umbrella and thus didn't get wet.
