Default Sewards of Petersfield Steam and Vintage Gathering

This years event details

Held on 10th and 11th July 2010
at The Spread Eagle Pub, Farnham Road, West Liss. Hampshire. GU33 6JU.

There will be full size and miniatures engines, motorbikes, cars, tractors, stationary engines, military vehicles and much more.

On the Saturday afternoon there will be a 12 mile road run to Petersfield and back to the pub in Liss.

Free Admission

It is a very enjoyable event! we have been every year and hope to attend again this year. It's definatley one to put in you're diaries! Just hope the weather is better this year!

Just to bring this back to the top of the thread..

We have 6 full size steamers coming along so far with many cars, tractors, stationary engines and all other sections.

We still have space for more entries (apart from tractors we are full) so please feel free to contact us or send in an entry form which you can download from our website www.sewards-of-petersfield.co.uk

Looks like an excellent engine line up this year, a couple of which I have not seen before, gets better and better. Hope that they will all be on the road run to Petersfield, though I suppose that it might be a bit far for the rollers to do in a couple of hours...

Hopefully some of the steam engines will do the 12 mile road run, most years a couple of the minitures also do the full road run but there is a shorter route. About 4.30pm on saturday afternoon we are hoping that all the engines and other vehicles will pass through our local village of Liss so that might be a good place to wait for them to appear...

Well, I am going to give it a good go, those Aveling singles aren't as slow as some might think, I guess it depends how many good drinking establisments we pass on the way
