I think I spotted 4 rollers on rubbers - though I may be wrong!!

Would any of the owners of the rollers on rubbers like to comment on the difference they feel it has made to their engines? I would really appreciate hearing their views!!

Thanks

Mike

I missed this one, It is on rubbers, but to be fair to the owners the history board displayed at front of engine is honest.
Cheers Roger

I know one of the owners does post here so maybe he'll comment. All I'll say is that evrybody who has gone down this route I've spoken to over the past eight years covering rallies feels that it is the only way to road - over long distances - such an engine in modern conditions on modern road surfaces.

Default Rubbers

OOOOH YES! So far worth the money, First road outing week after next but so far, quieter, smoother and suprisingly faster, at the same revs. A big thumbs up from me.

Nice pic of me driving grommets roller. The rubber reduces the noise it makes a lot.On the advance the wheels are like drums.
On the steam parade at chatham dockyard it has a railway track set into the road and a few of the unshod avelings do get stuck, no problems with the rubbers.Looking forward to a road run in may it will be a great test.
I think chatham dockyard must have the highest amount of rubbered rollers in one place
