Astle Park Rally 2017
We visited on the Saturday, the afternoon weather was excellent and I was well satisfied with my photographic efforts.
http://www.internationalsteam.co.uk/...kindexap17.htm There was no programme and if there were any engines hidden away from the others, I will have missed them. Any errors or omissions, please let me know. Thanks. |

Cornish Steam and Country Fair 2017
A successful visit to Cornwall:
http://www.internationalsteam.co.uk/...kindexwe17.htm Alas the Sunday was likely to be as bad for photography as Saturday was good and we came home early. There was meant to be a simultaneous YouTube upload, but my desktop computer has crashed and while this report was compiled on my laptop, it cannot deal with video. |

Onslow Park 2017
We spent two days here and eventually the sun came out and stayed out.
http://www.internationalsteam.co.uk/...ukindexs17.htm I was mainly here to get some video of the working areas which will hopefully appear in the next few days, but along the way managed to get the usual crop of good record shots. |

Harewood Steam Fair 2017
We've been up north again for the weekend.
http://www.internationalsteam.co.uk/...kindexhh17.htm Quite a few familiar faces as expected, but pleased to see a couple of Leeds regulars that don't travel too far. |

Trotter Lives!!!
The unique 1933 Arthur Trotter steam roller is back in steam. Its first public appearance was at the Speech House Vintage Show on 10th September 2017.
It should also appear at the Perrygrove Vintage Working Weekend on 16th and 17th September 2017 just a short distance from its birthplace. |

Grand Henham Steam Rally 2017
We had a long weekend visiting friends in East Anglia.
On the Saturday we went to a rather wet Henham event which temporarily put my camera out of action. The sun did though come out briefly in the afternoon when the engines were sitting around. http://www.internationalsteam.co.uk/...rollers296.htm We also popped into the Long Shop Museum, which is simply excellent: http://www.internationalsteam.co.uk/...rollers297.htm The engines here rarely go outside East Anglia which made it particularly interesting, albeit 75% we had seen at Strumpshaw and Weeting. I've now got to wade through Friday's pictures at Old Warden, we had but a couple of hours sunshine in the morning to make hay. I gather the sun was in short supply thereafter until much, much later in the weekend. |
