Not I. We were originally going to Weald of Kent this weekend but on checking it seems we would face a hefty hotel bill to stay up north at short notice with it being peak holiday season.

Not to mention another challenging weather forecast!

It's an excellent location and the 2017 show was well run and well attended (and the sun shone).

Bring back Pickering is the Show field still up for sale/ under development.
Used to be good.
Never been to Whity rally but I believe the site is limited to room for expansion.

Hi Inernational Steam, I think you'll find that the Weald of Kent show has been postponed untill the weekend of the 14/15 Aug.this is because of the ground conditions. Best check their web site.

Default Thanks

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Yes, Weald of Kent this weekend was our original choice.

We looked at Whitby only after that was postponed, hence the problem looking for a late booking in a popular tourist area!

Maybe next year, I've heard of Whitby in very positive ways. Because of the distance from me (and not yet having a full driving licence) it would be too much of a hassle to go just for a day trip - attending the Rally as part of a long weekend in the area would be a better option

Not for me this year, but am booked for Astle Park the next weekend. Whitby is worth the vist over a long weekend as plenty to do/see around the area. Attended in 2019. Only negative is no printed program with exhibits listed, but I think this is common to all the "Outdoorshows" events?
