why don't you just try camden miniature steam, as they are the main supplier.

Hello Chris,

Well I was sort of hoping that I might find some second-hand unused castings, especially the cylinder as when I last was quoted in 2007 the price of a cylinder castings was £250 excluding all covers, valve and trunk guides etc. and this price is bound to go up in 2008! I can manage to fabricate or machine from the solid nearly everything else, but the cylinder would be a lot of extra work.

Regards James.

Price for the cylinder casting is £230.90 including vat but plus postage, correct 29th Oct 2007.

The alternative’s are fabricate or have a go at making a pattern and get one cast yourself.
