Default Sheffield Steam & Vintage Rally

Nice day at North Anston today , I have not been here for a couple of years mainly because of the weather .
Good selection of engines today with McLaren 1421 out again , Fowler 15462 looking impressive along with Fowler 8712 , a favourite of mine.
Ruston & Hornsby 122300 is new to me and well it looks , another that I saw for the first time is Fowler 11700 an engine with Australian history.
A good number of rollers were also there Aveling & Porter 8506 and 2031 as was Fowler 15981 and 17501 together with Wallis & Steevens advance 8058 .
George White 1198 could also be seen .
Not to forget Fowler 14893 which I came across last year at Harewood looking like it's nearing completion of restoration work.

I will send some photo's to Photobucket when I have sorted them all.

Really good little rally , highly recommended .

I have not seen the Ruston before , looked well as it was driven around the show field and playpen area set aside for any engine to use .
The A&P roller 2031 "English Rose" was new to me as well , oldest Aveling I have come across to date.
Really good rally given it's size .
