Default Old Mill Road Run

What a cracking day, nothing better then the New Forest on a hot sunny day in October, and a 10 mile road run to the sea and back!!! One of the best days out! Great selection of engines too!!!

Looks like you had an amazing day! what great back drops for the engines, sea and countryside. Couple of nice wagons being towed. Thanks for the photos.

No it really is that fast, quicker than most of the traction engines on the run! 4" Mclarren Showmans

Ahhh yes the lovely Mclaren Showmans, I think it is very highly geared? Truly fantastic engine that.

I have it on good authority that the Mclaren is pretty much geared 1:1 in top!! Also remember hearing something about flat out she will do a good 30
