John

You will find them in our latest catalogue that is due out in a few weeks time. We have been working with Universal Steam Engineering on a range of boiler and engine fittings, including cylinder drain cocks, blowdown valves, clack valves, tank valves displacement lubricators etc.

For Fowlers we have in stock Blow Down valves and will shortly have examples of both types of cylinder drain cock. The fowler displacement lubricator will hopefully be available from the coming Autumn.

The Fowler drain cocks were usually 14 tpi, but we can have these finished to your requirements.

Which type of drain cock do you need, with the flange or without?

Call me for more information. 07785 258169

Thank you Stuart for your meticulous reply, however, I had in any case presumed that you might have them available new, along with many other items from your emporium as you list above and I had placed a wanted ad on here, in the hope of first looking for a serviceable used pair that were rather more modestly priced.
Regards JP

Sure, that's understandable. If you're stuck in the end you know where we are. I would say that for the work involved most of what we sell is modestly priced, but that's an individual point of view, but as a business we can't and you wouldn't expect us to compete with mates rates! Which are what these days? The VAT makes everything these days a grudge purchase, that I can't do much about and 20% is a wack, that mates rates can avoid! There was someone advertising new Fowler cylinder drain cocks in OG recently, either last month or the month before.
