Default Aberystwyth show (sort of)

These are pictures leading up to the Aberystwyth show event taken on friday evening before driving to the field, Wallis 7269 'Panther' on the Vale of Rheidol railway yard with No 9 'Prince of Wales' and No 8 'Llewelyn' my thanks has to go out to Robert Millington and Mark Jones (Fruity) for getting the engine on the yard for half 5 (it was a close one) and to Neil Thompson (manager of the railway) for allowing this opportunity to happen. Unfortunally i didnt get any photos of the event because my camera was taken out of the car. Other engines at the show were Aveling and Porter tractor 6201 'Dougal', Marshall Traction engine 41151 'Wandering Star', Burrell Traction engine 3017 'Spider', Ransomes Sims and Jefferies Traction engine 42032 ' Velfrey Queen' and Sentinel Wagon 8122.

I forgot to mention the little Merryweather fire pump that threw out water out at quite an impressive rate and replenished the Wallis's tank, and also the loverly 6nhp Barrows Portable from Camarthen

The Merryweather is owned by my father. It was priming badly by the end of the day, due to some residue in the plastic tanks holding the water supplied by the show.
The portable lives near Cardigan I believe.
