Default Festival of Steam.

Greetings,
there are many good engine events this weekend 18th 19th of August, & the weather forecast is good. West Sussex has lost many of its old events but it is great to see revived & new events, Northchapel, Wiston & indeed my own little do succeed. Praps if anyone is in the area or at a loose end they may be interested to visit the "Museum." Look up events at www.wealddown.co.uk If your Saturday evening is free there is much interest in the road run. After the run there is free food left over from the buffet. Latter, chips & stuff are fried. All free. There are no loud bands but plenty of talking blaa blaa ooooo aaaaaarr, archive, vintage & other films of interest are shown. Beers are sold at cost. eg pint of bitter £1.00, yard of ale £2.50. Cider at cost. Wines & soft drinks free. We have yet to find someone who can drink a yard in one go, can you? Anyone who can play a good tune on something & bring it along especially welcome.
25 Full size 40 mini engines. Steam gallopers, steam bike, steam gramophone & railways plus the museum &c &c.
