Had a nice weekend there too with the Wallis. Great to catch-up with people, and meet many more as well.
Here are some of my pictures:

Fantastic photo's, thank you all. Just been back about an hour, absolutely shattered, a weeks holiday lighter, and a few more grey hairs, but it is thanks to stuff like this that makes it all worthwhile. Cheers.

Thanks for all your effort Charlie, always a good atmosphere here.

Matt, it's piles of crap that make a rally more interesting!

I echo that. I had several favourable comments about that display, definately something to repeat.

Thanks for the photo's. As a slight diversion, what is the tall pointed structure seen in the first photo of the road run photo's used for for?

It has no purpose, it is a folly, built in the late 1800's I believe by unemployed local workers and paid for by the then landowner. There are several dotted about, all different. The one on the showfield is called the Rose Tower. Incidentally the landowner was a reknowned local character nicknamed Jack The Treacle Eater. Please don't ask why. haha.

Please don't ask why. haha.

Why?

We had a conversation about the tower as well, but came up with no constructive answer, so when asked by two punters on Sunday afternoon the first was told it was for housing 'doves', and the second was informed it was a 'Scandinavion Pizza Oven' and that replicas could be found in Ikea, they seemed to go away happy enough.
