Default 1000 engine Friday 2014

We went along on Friday afternoon to catch some of the engines arriving. The ground is dry and the sun shone all day which bodes well for a good weekend. The event is mainly around the many stationary engines but there will be a good turn out of traction engines and wagons of all sizes. It's good location and the natives are quite friendly..

Thankyou for the photographs David, looks like a splendid rally, but just one question, why, with so many lovely engines to look at, are the crowd watching the grass grow?
