Here is a good pic to illustrate the way the weather works in this part of the world.
You can see a storm head has just passed and it is bright and sunny either side of it.
When you pack to go here you put in your shorts and thongs and your dry as a bone on top.

The good thing was it kept the dust under control.

Can also get very cold at night, sub zero, or at other times there will be a fire ban.
