Aveling XAC tractor for sale - Traction-Talk

Aveling XAC tractor No. 6781 of 1909.

New box barrel etc... by Bicknells, never steamed. New tender, belly tank, smokebox and chimney.

Cylinder, trunkguides, crossheads etc... unrestored but complete with gov. valve. Missing crank, flywheel, second shaft and perch bracket.

Have collected con. rods, eccentric rods, wheels, diff. winding drum, some gears etc... and have castings for most of the other missing bits along with new springs.

This is a genuine tractor never been a roller.

I have just started to assemble the motion and the connecting rods are the correct ones. I will post more pictures tomorrow when everything this on.

I hope these come out. They should show the Aveling with virtually all the bits on. The safety valves are at universal steam.

I would like a relatively quick sale so I am open to sensible offers
