Default Catalogues

I have for sale a number of catalogues and a very interesting company archive

1) 1877 Descriptive Catalogue for Fowler Patent Machinery for Steam Cultivating and General Purposes. 38 pages has clearly spent much of its life folded in half but now has a bespoke slip case and is as good as you could hope to find for its age. Very very rare £500

2) Fowler Duplicate Parts for Steam Cultivating Machinery. Large format, loose covers and pages, folded in half and stamped J’Burg £50

3) Fowler Road Transport Machinery Catalogue Part II No.63 98 pages some loose but in decent order. Covers all the big sexy engines . Some creasing and foxing to pages £250

4) Fowler General Catalogue No.3 in French. 36 pages ok condition but a bit of creasing and foxing with some loose pages £60

5) Ruston Proctor No.130 A-E 1890/1 Steam Engines and Boilers. Thick meaty catalogue with some repairs and held together by a plastic spine clamp. Decent order for age £120 (together with a supplement Section A 40 pages)

6) Ruston Hornsby bound Traction Engine leaflet ex Crawley Library. 6 pages but features both Tractions and Tractors £60

7) Robey No.249 small colourful catalogue 48 pages excellent order features many products but it’s in French £40

8) Robey No.120 Section II Steam Engines, All portables and semi portables. A double page has some tearing but otherwise a tidy catalogue £50

9) Robey various fragments inc 1892 Catalogue Cover and two sets of pages £20

10) McLaren some pages stapled together out of order featuring ploughing engines mostly, 10 pages or so £20

11) The Charles Price & Sons / Lancs Rolling Co Archive Featuring
- Profit and Loss Accounts / Balance Sheets for ‘39, ‘42, ‘44, ‘45, 46 with realisation accounts for 1946
- 1921 Partnership contract for Charles Price and Sons, ditto 1931
- Letters Patent 386905 and 405412 (1932) for scarifying related things
- A thick folder of further patent material “Specifications of Patents”
- Letterhead detailing opening of Broadheath works and the forming of Road Rollers Owners Association listing those present (inc Box, Price, Williams etc) and another detailing the Works and staff, plus a plain one
- Brief one sheet history of Charles Price
- 3 Calling Cards for F Price
- 4 Photographs relating to the works and manager with sundry documents
- Solicitor corespondence relating to the estates and life insurance (F Price)
- Small folder of corespondence relating to patents and war time losses
- various cuttings and a few possibly unrelated bits from the same source
- Lancs Road Rollers and Co For Hire Catalogue 10 pages excellent order with photos of engines and the works
- Price Repairs Catalogue 8 pages
- Price Patent Scarifier Leaflet ( 2 Diffferent )
- c1935 Resilient Scarifier Catalogue 8 pages
- c1924 Lancashire Road Roller Co Catalogue 16 pages
- Price Petrol and Parafin Railway Motor Car Catalogue
- c1929 Price Tarmacadam Heater Flyer
- Scarifier shock absorber flyer
- Auction Catalogue for the Sale of the Works (1946)
There is a lot of material here and I won’t split it £600 the lot.
