Astle Park
Got back from Astle tonight.
I enjoyed it despite the weather (it was lovely and sunny this afternoon). We played with Basil's and Sam's boys toys, had fun, managed to get to the low loader and load unaided despite some muddy bits! We had a lovely fire in our new (ish) brazier, even better because it was Basil's coal!!  I still can't believe the amount of beer that Chris the Pole drank. He emptied our barrell pretty much single handedly!!  Cheers BF

The boy hasn't developed a taste for real beer at last has he? Or is is it that it was cheap so it appealed to the student in him?

Broken Firebar even got caught polishing!
 Is this Chris before or after he emptied the barrell??  'Evening Star' and Frank Lythgoe's 89 key Marenghi organ  "The Shiney Burrell"  "Little Mac"  "Julie"  A newly restored Fowler T3 roller which changed hands over the weekend I think  "Rusty Nuts"  "Diamond Queen"   "Navigator" - note the writing on the chimney!  One of the Tylers Fowler tractor which Richard Fairhurst won Richard Metcalfe's shield for being the engine which was roaded the furthest to the rally  Another of Tyler's Fowler tractors "Mr Blower"  "Prospector"  "Chipchase"??   "Lucy Ashton"  "Panther"  "Victoria"  "King George V"  Des Bostock on the way home on the Ex Tazmanian Fowler  Sam.
