Default WESES St Agnes Steam Rally 2009

Selection of pictures I took over the weekend. They just about coped with the weather which made the site very soft but engine movement continued. Of particular note was the working area with 3 working portables and steam ploughing - excellent. This is the last rally to be held on this site after more than 25 years of events there.

Pictures I took of Thursdays Road Run are here.

Any sign of Roy Wakefield and his Mann Tractor "Brinkburn Lass"? When I last saw him, 2 weeks ago, he was completeing his rebuild following fitting of a new boiler, and he was short of time to get everything back together. He was booked to appear at St. Agnes and I just wondered if he made it there.

Yes, Brinkburn Lass was there and went for a run up engine hill over the weekend.

A very big well done for Neil Gough and crew for roading down Burrell "Brittania" Hope they have a safe and good journey back home on that absolutely superb engine.

Well done .
