Default GDSF 2013 - Saturday

Sorry to start yet another GDSF thread, but thought it would be worth a few more pictures, this time from the Saturday of the show. Personally, I think this year was one of the best years in recent times at the GDSF and the weather on the Saturday was beautiful all day, and as David says "GDSF has got's old spark back after a couple of quiet years". Also good to meet a few new faces as well.

A very happy looking Martin Oliver during the World Record attempt, and quite rightly!

Couldn't resist it David!

And the roller line up after 2 hours waiting...I'm sure everyone who was there will agree that it was just so hard to picture all of it, so this is my best shot using a panorama function on my camera! However it still does not do justice to show the sheer number of rollers that were in the line up!

And for those of us who braved being in close proximity to Colossus up the hill...

Dust...!

Cheers, Toby.

Great pics Toby. I agree Saturday was by far the best for pics, it wasn't too bad today when I left either.

You go on my ever increasing revenge list

Very nice photo of Mark, you didn't seem to be around at your roadmans van on Saturday when I passed by. And then i saw you having a run around the play pen, looked to be enjoying yourselves.

Default Superb . . .

A lovely series of photographs, thanks for posting them. One of the best set of photographs I have ever seen on here. I wasn't able to be there so especially grateful to you for bringing the spirit of Dorset to my laptop.

Great pics Toby. The night time one's are my favourate, they put another slant on things. We had a real good time Saturday, bit dusty but there you go, cant have every thing. Those that don't go don't know what they are missing. Greatest Show on earth.

And yes, it was very dusty! My Dad's car and my Camera's original colour was barely distinguishable at the end of the day! But dust is a lot better than mud...!

Dorset Dust is a right pain but it don't half make engines look good, Boadicea looks awesome in that pic above and I have seen one of Jimmer and Sarah's Gold Medal absolutely plastered and it looks the biz!
