A Fletcher design clayton, built in 1899, no 32900 HK9836. Owned by Philp Family in Castle Hedingham Essex and restored / cared for by John Garwood. We had a fantastic day out with her. As always, she performed perfectly and was a pleasure to drive around. Its great to see some pictures from the other side of the hedge. I have travelled many miles on the road on that engine and she is a real beauty.

As you say, strakes, lovely mellowed paintwork and a handsome engine too.

Without doubt she is a credit for those who care for her.

Just thinking to myself how good it would have been to get all of the Wallis's involved together for a photograph, when I realised I didn't see any Advance rollers there. Were any involved, I couldn't see any in the programme? It's odd that with so many produced, and so many preserved there wasn't a representative of the type on show.
