The coal we had from you was good stuff and wasnt too smokey interesting luke had clinker troubles we didnt, but the loose stuf was awfull for smoke. Did any one get any photos of the showmens on saturday night?

Dont know what the ampage was but we were powering the lights on the Oktoberfest organ which included 15 halogen floodlights, so we reckon there was a fair bit and had no problems.

Watching the meter on Friday night, Lord lascellles was peaking about 150 amps on the chairoplanes.
It was very noticable the amount of smoke on Saturday night around the fair. I didn't get any of Andys coal, but had some left over from anglesey which I took - good stuff. I did pick up the last few lumps of the loose coal on Saturday, it was more smokey than the house coal I took to light the Ruston! Seemed like the smoke was full of tar, tubes got very clogged. Ian |
