Boconnoc Steam Fair 2010

Here are a selection of pictures I took over the weekend at Boconnoc. They never seem very lucky with the weather, yet again because of rainfall prior to the show movement was restricted to the hardstanding areas. Not that this detracted from the event, a great time had by all, thanks to everybody involved.

I thought it went very well considering what the weather was like on the Thursday, not seen that much rain for a long time!
Thankfully it stayed dry for the actual rally, and there seemed to be plenty of visitors attending on all days.

What a fantastic rally! Fantastic turn out of engines.
Shame about the spongey ground but didnt stop the lads doing a bit of haulage on the saturday!

Paid my 1st visit to Bocconoc last week and wow! what an bloody good show!

So refreshing to see engines moving around so much and not sitting idle boiling water. some real belters there too.

The icing on the cake was watching Burrell showmans "The Gladiator" in full flight out on the road on her way home.

Bocconoc is without doubt the "Best in the West"
