We will be there with "Jane", only our second formal event with her. Can't wait.

I note the model boats are there again, a useful feature if your going out on the road in the evening and the water bowser has disappeared for the day!!

Will be there on our first outing on my new engine (well in fact the engine is 100 years old this year, but it is new to me ).After finally finishing some boiler work and a bit of TLC she will be on the road this coming Friday.

See you there!!!!!!!!!!

Brian

We will be there with our 'new this season' 4" McLaren.

Question for those who have been before, which is the entrance for miniatures + caravan please?
The lanes there look like you could get in a mess.
Coming in from the motorway junc.2.

Les,

You need to come off M56 J11 and head for Warrington, pass the Lord Daresbury Hotel on the left, you need to pull over to the right hand lane and take the next turn right, follow the road to the left and the rally field entrance is on the right, there is one track that takes you through the car park to the rally field.

It is the same entrance for all exhibits, when you come in turn left and follow the track around the field, the miniatures are before the thunderboxes with the full size the other side, I will be down on Friday teatime all being well with one of my engines.

Regards

Clive

Great Les looking forward to seeing this engine with a fire in her. I have told people on the gate that you can't come in till your wife has the cake tin weighed.

I though I recognised you from your post, Leigh Arms last two years. Wonderful cakes, David Bloor has some competition.

Look forward to seeing the Mac finally in steam, see you at the weekend.
