Not been for many years, but it was always a cracking rally. As I have been told, it still is.

Default Duncombe Park Steam Rally

Yes it usually has 45 to 50 full size engines and 30 to 40 miniature steamers. Don't know if that bike race will affect attendances at the rally. It's the same weekend and not far from the rally

Teeth Duncombe Park Steam Rally

Sat. 5th start at Leeds to Harewood to Harrogate then up into the Hills then to Thirsk [nearly on the doorstep] to Ripon finishing in Harrogate. Sun 6th start at York to Knaresborough to Harrogate then head towards Sheffield. Been to York today and signs up everywhere for road closures. No leaving A64 on any turn off into York. Bypass round Clifton Moor to Monks Cross back to A64 all closed, this includes turn off to Helmsley. I agree Chris, sod the bikes !

Are you going in the bike race ? ? ? Lol Sun 6th, Road from A64 to Monks Cross then Clifton Moor will now be open including Helmsley & Haxby junctions. From A64 direct to Clifton Moor will be closed. Warning signs say ignore sat nav's.

JTurner23, If your going to Duncombe Park on Friday you maybe o.k. Not sure of diversions or road closures around Thirsk area.
