Default Steaming to Henham

Here are some pictures of Garrett Agricultural No. 32936 of 1916, 'Felsted Belle', roading to the 'Grand Henham Steam Rally' in Suffolk. Day 2 of the 40 mile trip spread over two days.

The Belle makes a fine garden ornament on the overnight stop.

Gently over the curb.

Hitching up the living van, left in the road.

On the open road. The living van was originally a WW II mobile radar unit. After the war it was converted to a living van by road makers W&J Glossop, who pulled it with one of their Sentinel waggons, which they ran along with a fleet of rollers.

There are hills in the area, albeit small ones!

Navigating the town of Bungay, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border was interesting.

Entertaining some locals.

Bungay wasn't really designed for road trains.

This is the main road through Bungay.

Spot the photographer.

The open road again, and good food.

A main road hill.

Dinner going into the oven.

A water stop.

No room in the pub car park.

The sun came out as we left the pub.

My favourite picture of the day, 'somewhere in Suffolk'.

Thanks very much to the owners for another excellent day out.
Bill.
