7 HP 3 speed Fowler R Class
Ex Australia R class traction engine, new motion, bearings, shafts (inc crank), 3 speed, unsprung, new barrel, tube plate and firebox, tombstone blackhead. Solid rubbers also fitted to a High standard resulting in rear wheels being 6’6. New tender etc etc. Ten year test at start of this year and lagging currently being fitted. This engine is 90% new. POA and serious enquiries only.
I’m only considering selling as I can’t single man the engine and I can’t get a low
Loader into where I keep it so it’s not the most practical for me. That said, if it doesn’t sell I’ll still love it so won’t lose sleep! Would consider part ex against steam tractor/showman’s tractor or possibly foden in good mechanical condition.
