Default Highlands Steam and Vintage Fair - Oberon NSW

A few shots from the HS&VF held on the weekend of the 19th and 20th of Feb. Just a few of the engines, maybe someone might post some more?

Indeed, a good weekend. Trouble is when you are in the thick of it, you don't get to see much of the show. I can report that the Studebaker towed the tractor sled out of the ring, so they put another 2 tons of concrete on it.....and it did it again.....

Off to Tasmania next to take the big Marshall to Steam Fest at Sheffield. We will have both of the 8hp engines there this year, my single as well as the compound.

What engine does that Studebaker have in it ?

I used to drive a Russian Zil , which appeared to be a copy , but it was gutless .

It has a 320 c.i. Hercules flat head 6. Not the world's most powerful engine, but plenty of torque.

Yes my family did plan to go with some Garrett wagon owning friends of ours but we changed our minds in the last week. Will aim for next year, or maybe 3 to 4 years with our Sentinel?
Paul.
