Hi Steve ,
Yes it's our tribute to your late father Arthur and yourself ,
Both myself and Melvyn apreciate the fact that you stood by your late dads desire for us to have the trailer and the chance to own and restore a unique sentinel product
Hope it meets your approval
Cheers martin

What is the history of ADA? It looks like an R class unsprung Fowler. I've not seen this engine before.

Cheers Carl.

Ada ......
New to Stechworth hall estate Newmarket 1903 from memory works no 10373 will check when next in yard
Was ordered as an estate engine for wood sawing haulage etc
She is 2 speed sprung original order form contains option for third speed ,belly tanks and canopy ,but not sure if ever fitted
Was rescued from scrap yard by Oliver Taylor ,in late 1940s/ early 50sanother of the Taylor's of Wimbish ,who had no part in the family firm
He named it Ada ,cos it goes just as well backwards as forwards
After his death it passed to his nephew
Was looked after and drive by the late frank Saville
Now owned by his nephew D Gowlett and a resident of the Wimbish yard
Cheers Martin
