I was there. It was amazing how most engines managed to get up the hill on their own yet the Burrells needed at least 2 and sometimes 3 tied together to stand any chance of getting up the hill. Even then they struggled, huffing and puffing and snorting their way around the site.

Looks like everyone was having a good weekend blue sky and steam. A rare occurance this year. Heard on countryfile last night weather just mike take a turn for the better heres hopeing

Would love to go back again to this do. We used to go in the 80's . Loved the ambience of the setting, there's some photo's of those days in my 'picture albums'
