That would still be excluding auctioneer's mark ups/fees I assume. Would there be a fee for buyer and seller in this case?? Never been to one of these auctions.

In this instance 5% + plus VAT on that. So £31800 would be what was paid.

Fee for seller would be between them an auctioneer I suppose, varies between auction houses.

Also wish I had known about the Burrell Plates. So I guess if we had all been there, the final price would have been considerably higher!! I may then have been in serious trouble with her in doors!!
