Default Sandringham Game and Country Fair 2021

Just a couple of shots from the above event held at the weekend. This is primarily not a steam event but there was a good turnout of miniatures and a few full size. Very busy spectator wise and superb weather.

How do I post the full size images?

If you create a picture album, you can load the pictures there, and then in your post, you use the "advanced option" and insert the pictures (links actually) to your album. You can only load 4 or 5 at a time, but it is not too bad.

Alternately, you can host your images somewhere else, and then post the link to that location. This used to be acceptable but some hosting companies like photobucket stopped you from doing this, so there are thousands of links on here that don't work anymore because of photobucket's policy.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try next time I post photographs.

Although the Sandringham event was not the first outing for my engine, it was the largest event. The engine performed very well except for a couple of issues which have been present since I acquired it. Namely the safety valves which refuse to shut off until down to around 30psi and the feed water becoming hot which of course upsets the injector.

These are winter jobs when I will change the safety valves for pop valves and rig up a remote water supply to the injector so it is drinking cold water. Oh yes and I have no output from the dynamo. It is ever thus with steam.

I used to enjoy small rally's as much if not better than the larger ones.

We too. Years ago when I exhibited vintage motorcycles I felt there was a very impersonal, business air of take it or leave it at the big rallies which made exhibitors into commodities.
