Superb weekend, and the weather couldn't have been better, haven't seen so many public around for a few years. A couple more pictures;

Despite several attempts the ropes all held up to my knowledge and £500 was raised for the Air Ambulance

No we didn't, and we weren't really trying to, although we doubled up the tow rope, to give it a bit more strength, as nobody would have wanted the ploughing engines' wire rope to be flailing around after breaking the tow rope.

All good fun, and certainly a crowd puller, they sold the lot as MSJ says above.

Great set of photos, thanks for posting!

Love the one with the sun shining through the steam and smoke (...and roller 'the Highlander' in there somewhere!), very atmospheric.
