Default Cawood 2009

2009 Cawood show (Cawood near Selby, North Yorkshire, on the River Ouse).

The show is based all around the village with all sort of arts and crafts, entertainment, farmers market, art show, junk stalls, village history, miniture railway, steam, vintage cars and tractors. All in all a very cheap and friendly family event.

We will be repeating the formula of the previous years, which is on top of the events at the show, I am struggling to improve the additional stuff.

Saturday
Roading, approximately 3 miles, the steam engines to the show.
Convoy of vintage vehicle leading to the opening of the show.
Evening, roading back to my yard for a Bar-B-Q.

Sunday
Roading down to the show.
Steam car tour sets off at 11.00 am.
Steam car tour returns around 2.00 pm.
Roading back to my yard.

Monday
Roading there
and back again and one last chance for that famous Bar-B-Q.

We do not pay money for attending, we give coal and lots of fun.

Any one interested with any form of vintage vehicle being lorry, bus, steam engine, stationary engine, model, car or collection who wants a nice, relaxing, friendly event to attend then give me shout on 07771 573584 or E mail on Ian.vinton@gmail.com.

As pointed out by a member I never actually said when:
Its the 29 to 31 August, ie: August Bank Holiday.

Cheers
