Sadly,

I think that to be realistic we should cancel the whole rally programme for the rest of 2020. I know some people will think that I am taking an extreme view however, this is not the case. I am considering the costs of staging a rally and the losses incurred when it is cancelled. Would it not be better for us to save our pennies until next year and put some good shows on then to make up for this year?

Glad someone else thinks along the same lines as myself
Rather than last minute rushed rallies why not regroup and direct resources to making 2021 our target
Surely everyone should be focused on what needs to be done to get us through the next few months
After all steam is a great part of our lives but all said and done it is only a hobby and not a necessary risk to take
Take care and stay safe
Cheers martin

Martin,

Just looked on the Strumpshaw web site (5.15pm Sunday 22 March) and doesn't state that any events are cancelled, not even the family Easter event.
If you know someone there, perhaps you can give them a nudge. I'm a member of a Club which exhibits at the rally and we have NOT received any communication.
