This is the fourth year I've visited and again it was a very good event. Brilliant working area. Have some photos which I will post when I sort them out.

Young Buster, do you have New Holland overalls?

This was my first ever event with a steam exibit. As I have a steam roller I thought I may have been shuned by "other" steam exhibitors as bieng "lower class" as I've witnessed before at some rallys but this couldn't have been any further from the truth. I was made very welcome and everyone was classed as equals. Most people showed great interest in my Aveling.
I was over the moon with joy. If this weekend is anything to go by then I'm a very happy man.
Many thanks,
Mike

Would your roller be the A+P without the lagging?

Young Buster...you were just spotted. Now that I'm sure of you are I'll be watching for you to be doing something wrong!

Abbey Hill...this was the fourth year I've been as a spectator which is usually pretty rubbish but year on year it's just as good. Starnge how things are similar but it seems like it's the first year you've been.

My engine was the little 8 ton 1906 Aveling I imported from Switzerland. This was it's first ever rally and the first time in steam since 1964.
Mike.

Thanks to all our exhibitors, without whom we would not have a show. Roll on 2010 for our 30th anniversary!

Charlie and Mark.
