2" Aveling and Porter Steam Roller parts.

Hi Everyone,

Now that I have some time on my hands I'm planning on building a steam engine and the model I have chosen is the 2" Aveling and Porter Steam Roller that was featured in Model Engineer in 1974/5/6. Not sure if this is an ideal model for a first build but I'm about to find out.

The first things that I am looking for are 2 issues of ME that I am missing, these being Vol 141 issues 3521 and 3525. Even just a scan of the relevent articles from these magazines would be great.

I know the plans are still available new for this engine but as we all like a bargain (especially a Yorkshireman) then if someone has a used set that would be even better.

It seems like a lot of the parts can be fabricated, which appeals to me, but if anyone does have any castings it would be nice to hear from you.

Finally, any and all advice about any aspect of the build would be really appreciated although I'm sure I'll have lots of specific questions over the coming months/years.
