On the basis that most people who are interested in steam also like organs:-
There was a great, one day, festival in Diss, Norfolk, on 15th May - with steam accompaniment.
Nearest camera, Fowell 'Percy'.
An engine is always a good back drop for a photo. Not sure whether this couple were getting married, or just enjoying the day!
There were a number of faces familiar to E.A.T.E.S. members.
The streets of Diss were overwhelmed with engines.
Ruston & Hornsby 'Oliver'.
Diss mere (a large lake) made a good backdrop for some of the exhibits.
6 inch Burrell SRL. Note the gallopers on the other side of the mere.
Usually seen on an engine.
There were over 50 organs, of all types, spread around the town. This one is a genuine Dutch street organ.
This one came over from Leiden in the Netherlands for the event.
Different to the usual events reported here, but very enjoyable. Thanks to all concerned.
Bill.
