4” Burrell double crank compound scenic Showman engine for Sale

I am selling this engine due to financing a new project. This DCC engine has three gears with a top speed of approx. 8 mph and will comfortably pull in excess of 3 tones. It comes with a fully working main dynamo and exciter and includes many extras, such as, vulcanised tyres on the front and rear wheels, double seat (for ease of driving), main dynamo cover, engine cover and so on.

The engine was completed in 2014 and is registered for the road. It recently had a steam test (expires May 2016) and is not due a hydraulic test until 2024. The engine comes with all the necessary paperwork and insurance certificates, such as steel boiler certification and inspection reports.

It has an excellent finish and was rallying throughout last year, so it's now bedded in nicely, this is a lovely engine to drive and won best in show during last season.

Also available by separate negotiation is a 2008 Ifor Williams twin axle trailer with drop down tailboard, winch and anchoring points (purchased to transport the engine).

Few people have asked about the transport trailer, so here is a picture of it. The trailer is an iFor Williams and comes with floor brackets (6 eyelets), ideally for a racket strap either side the engine. It also comes with a fronted mounted winch bracket (winch is included as part of the sale).
