The East Anglian Traction Engine Society held its 2018 AGM at The Grange Mechanical Music Museum near Diss and provided a welcome breath of steam. Three engines were in attendance, two well known locally plus a newcomer to the area.
They made a fine line up.
The Pumfrey family's Ruston Proctor No. 50278 of 1915 'Success' was kindly moved out of the deep shadow of the building for a photo.
The Wheeler family's Ruston Hornsby No. 113043 of 1920 'Oliver' roaded in.
The newcomer was the Easton family's recently acquired Burrell No. 2770 SCC of 1905.
Finally, one of the proud objectives of organisations like EATES is to enthuse the next generation.
Thanks to all the engine owners and EATES for the entertainment - and to the 'clerk of the weather' for the sunshine.
Bill.
