We made the long trip over to the South East for the first time and were not disappointed by our visit. Great selection of engines in a brilliant setting with the added bonus of the museum to wander around. It was nice to see so many different engines for the first time and well worth the journey. Here are a few pictures:

Yep, excellent weekend, our first as an exhibitor. The sound of showmans engine "Ex Mayor" chugging at full-bore running the fairground rides on Saturday night was brilliant, I have seen that engine at many rallies over the years and it's always worked hard, putting out 110v @ 400A gives the engine man plenty of work

Not so sure about the damn peacocks though

I think it is the only other Burrell I have seen with the same front wheels to ours. Now no nasty comments Mr 8/10 !

Doesn't Delarey/Spitfire have 'silly wheels' too?

P.S

I have always wondered if it should actually be de la Rey?, another Boer General.
