Default Imperial ‘C’ Channel

Wanted:
Looking for some Imperial ‘C’ channel with tapered flanges:
3.5’’ x 2’’ (90 x 50mm)
5’’ x 2.5’’ (127 x 65)

I know that the later size is available, however I gather it is all parallel flange available, however as it is for a restoration I am trying to locate the correct material.

Any help or leads gratefully received.

James

I did a search in the UK for taper flange channel. There are some small sizes which still are available here but very limited. However I believe taper flange imperial sizes are still available in the USA. If you find a way of shipping to the UK I would be interested in 5”x 2.5” and 6”x3” channel for Baler rebuilds...
Cheers

Have a think about scrapyards , and demolition contractors . There is a Sentinel which was restored with a front crossmember which had been for many years part of a cinema .

There's another one where the chassis used to be a pylon.

Just to update all those who are interested. I have managed to source a supplier of Tapered flange channel - albeit in metric sizes and fairly pricey!
