Default Tavistock Steam Fair

I happened to be in the area so I spent a couple of enjoyable hours at the Tavistock Steam Fair this morning:

Thanks for visiting us on the hottest day of the year so far! A good crowd despite the attraction of the beaches. Thanks also to the visiting engines who all took their fair share of passenger carrying. It was very good to see the Robey Tri-tandem (VL2773) out again after its latest re-tubing, only three ever built and two still existing. Good entries in all sections thanks to the hard work behind the scenes by committee members and helpers.

Hi,
Billie is a cracking engine, I was given the opportunity to burn a bag or two of coal round n about Tavistock yesterday.(thanks Dave)
It is a great day out where among all the exhibits people can see engines moving, and ride behind them and I never saw any motorists in a bad mood!
And to be quite honest these Burrells arn't as bad as I thought, wish I never wore my Fowler tee shirt now!!!!!
Well done the Robey Trust!
