I will be there with the little Burrell, the Suffolk iron foundry stationary steam engine and the half size water cart (featured else where on traction talk) Looking forward to it. Hope the dry sunny weather is booked.

A very popular event and rightly so, but must admit to being slightly confused by the "21st Anniversary" bit on the poster, only because I remember visiting this event when I was 8 or 9 and I am now 44!

Until 1992, the Strumpshaw Steam Rally was ran by the Norfolk steam engines club (which has gone in to extreme decline, but still with us and called the Norfolk & Suffolk steam engine Club, and owns Marshall 6NHP "Woodton Lady) when the then committee decided to pull out of strumpshaw and stop organizing events.

To preserve this event the late Jimmy Key set up the current Strumpshaw Hall Steam Museum Rally which is a 3 day show (the NSEC was only a 2 day event). The Anniversary relates to the number of years that the event has been ran by the Key Family of Strumpshaw steam museum as a 3 day event.
